VR/AR Association member organization, The St. Louis Science Center, is exposing the wonders of VR and AR at an Enter the Matrix event. Remember The Matrix Movie?! Well, some of the realities showcased in the movie are now becoming a "real" reality with new immersive technologies.
On the evening of July 1st, the Saint Louis Science Center will be hosting a Matrix movie themed First Fridays event focused around the science of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. First Fridays is opportunity for the public to geek out at the Saint Louis Science Center while learning the real science behind science fiction. This event is one of the most popular days of the month for the Science Center attracting both families and young adults. The event starts at 6pm and ends at 10pm with a free late night movie where we will be showing The Matrix.
The Science Center is inviting Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Developers to showcase their work with public at the Matrix First Friday event. There are thousands of visitors that attend this event each month so this is a great way to create exposure for your company. If your group is interested in participating in this event, please contact Paul Freiling at the Saint Louis Science Center, paul.freiling@slsc.org.
