Empower trust between stakeholders and tech companies to create a safer and securer VR/AR world for all people.
Although virtual and augmented reality products and content are becoming more widely available to consumers, there is no industry-wide regulatory or safety standard. This Committee will work on best practices and guidelines and projects to help the industry.
Committee Goals
Achieve a level of trust that individuals and companies have to share full data access to VR/AR technologies
Dispel mistrust by enabling transparency and address privacy concerns as well as equipment safety to enable VR/AR technology advancement
Ensure safety and security happen with innovation to accelerate and advance the VR/AR field
