This week, Tyler and Sophia had an opportunity to sit down with Dr. Vijay Anandraj from Sify eLearning. Dr. Vijay Anandraj is the Tech Expert of AR & VR solutions at Sify eLearning who has been working in immersive technology for a very long time. Tyler discusses with Vijay the transition that large organizations make from traditional learning to immersive training.
This week the podcast highlights all of the teams who took part in the annual Iron Dev competition at I/ITSEC 2020. Iron Dev is a team competition similar to competitive cooking shows, where teams will be given a challenge and “secret ingredient” to develop a training solution to improve warfighter readiness. Teams will consist of diverse members with skills in AR/VR development, simulation networking/distribution, graphic design, simulation development, and training development. Listin in as the teams share who they are and what they did for this year's competition.
The first ever all-virtual IITSEC Conference will begin on November 30th and run through December 4th. We had the opportunity to sit down with the President of the National Training & Simulation Association, Admiral Robb, to discuss the importance of IITSEC and all of the many benefits of the conference including STEM and other educational initiatives.
